A friend sent this video to me. I share this not because of something aesthetic but of the design of the tool and its possibilities. Those of you who are tool junkies or woodworkers will probably appreciate this more than others being able to recognize those possibilities.
A couple highlights on those possibilities are how quick it can be adjusted, lack of blowout (when the wood chips) when cutting end grain, cheap to run (no electricity), little waste, and the ability to be extremely accurate (being able to do things like dovetails). It is a well thought out and a great design.
It has been a nice break but good to be back as well. I’ll get back to the disc and will have something up on that in a couple days.
