Floating Garden

I hate organizing and keeping things under control with the computer. Occasionally it has its benifits though. As I was sitting listening to some tunes, this time it happened to be Does it Offend You, Yeah? and I found these pics from over a year ago. Shown is the Floating Garden by Benjamin Graindorge.

The idea is that the plants make a natural filter making so that it is unnecessary to change the water. Having had a fish tank for some time I can say that I hated changing the water and bypassing that whole process is a lovely idea. I’ve never seen one for sale so I don’t know if the design had some issue that never got ironed out or if it just simply flopped. I like it though, and if I ever got the fish tank up and going again I would buy one. I believe that I got this via Dezeen.
